Feeding Guide
We recommend you feed your dog 1% to 1.2% of their ideal body weight. Follow the steps below (we’ve used 1% to make it simple) to make sure you feed your best friend just the right amount:
Weigh your dog in kilograms. Lets say your dog weighs 15kg
Now add a zero on the end. The 15kg now becomes 150 grams.
This figure equals 1% of your dog’s body weight. So your dog would need 150 grams of Guru Cold pressed food per day preferably divided into 2 meals.

How to switch
We recommend an introduction period of two weeks:
Start by mixing your new Guru cold pressed dog food with your dog’s old food with a 50/50 ratio.
Gradually increase the amount of Guru, whilst serving less of the old food (transitioning times can vary as every dog is different).
REMEMBER: Provide plenty of drinking water. From the moment you switch to Guru pet food, you will notice that your dog is drinking a little more water. This is perfectly normal and is important for your dog’s digestive system. However, if it becomes too much, you may feed your dog more than the recommended amount.
If your dog has a sensitive tummy, we recommend you start introducing Guru a bite at a time, before following the guide above.

Store in a cool dry area. Do not store in an airtight container.
