Cold pressing is a method of producing complete dog food at very low temperatures. by using our cold pressed method the ingredients retain all of their flavour, aroma, vitamins and nutritional value which are essential to growth, digestion and good health. all of this goodness is retained in bite-size pieces. cold pressed dog food guarantees a naturally nutritious and balanced diet for your four legged friend.
We at wellpet.gr have first-hand knowledge of switching dogs to a diet of Cold Pressed food. It really is super simple. We recommend you feed your dog 1% to 1.2% of their ideal body weight. Follow the steps below (we’ve used 1% to make it simple) to make sure you feed your best friend just the right amount:
- Weigh your dog in kilograms. Lets say your dog weighs 15kg
- Now add a zero on the end. The 15kg now becomes 150 grams.
- This figure equals 1% of your dog’s body weight. So your dog would need 150 grams of Guru Cold pressed food per day preferably divided into 2 meals.

Yes. It’s probably the most natural complete food available to give your dog.
Dry kibble is manufactured using a process called extrusion. This process exposes the ingredients to high temperatures that can degrade the quality of the food. Cold pressed food is mixed at very low temperatures (44 degrees) and pressed for a second, meaning each bite size piece retains much more of its natural nutrients.
It’s widely reported that some dogs are intolerant to the carbohydrate found in maize. However, maize germ itself does not include any of the starchy endosperm which is the source of nearly all the grain’s carbohydrates and gluten. This means that maize germ is much less likely to lead to any adverse reaction in dogs. The germ itself is relatively small but it contains most of the non-carbohydrate nutrients which include high levels of omega-6 and other healthy unsaturated oils plus vitamin E, A and K.
Yes, we did! We have two dogs and each have their own personality and unique character. One of our dogs had bouts of smelly breath and flatulence. We were amazed at how quickly he improved after switching foods. Another added benefit was the ease in which we could scoop their poop. Something I’m sure all pet owners will appreciate. After a few months, we also noticed an extra glossiness to their coats.

Yes, absolutely. We feed our dogs two meals a day. It’s become sort of a tradition in the morning that we moisten their breakfast meal with warm water. Also, it’s a great idea to moisten food if your dog has difficulty chewing or is a fast eater. (Please remember to let the food cool down before serving).
It’s best to feed your adult dog twice a day. Avoid feeding your dog before travelling, to prevent travel sickness. Also avoid feeding your dog an hour before and an hour after vigorous exercise.
Yes, however pregnant and lactating bitches will need more food. This can be between 2% and 2.5% and each dog should be assessed on an individual basis. If in doubt, seek advice from a veterinary professional.

Your purchase will be charged at the time of sending your order. If you have paid with Paypal, payment will be made immediately after purchase. We charge 5€ flat rate ground shipping for all orders below 40€ for any Greece destinations.

Returns, Refunds & Replacement
For CHANGE (non-defective product) you will be charged the return costs and the costs of the new shipment.
- Greece: 5-8€ if you use the courier service, which we cooperate (you’ll have to send the package on our own charge and then we’ll deduct the fee from your returning amount). In case your purchase is greater than 40€ you are only charged the return costs (5,00 €).
- International: Return postage cost must be covered direct by the customer.
The time limit of change expires after 14 calendar days from the day you or a third party acting at your instruction, other than the carrier, acquire the physical possession of or control over the products.

Our company will refund the payment we have received from you by bank transfer, after deducting the return costs.

Prerequisites for exercising the right of withdrawal are:
- The product has not been opened or used.

Our company takes every possible measure to ensure that all products are packed specifically and carefully in order to reach you without damage. In very rare cases, however, it is possible that some of these products may have been damaged during shipment to you or you may receive a product with a defect. For this reason, irrespective of your right to cancel the Contract as above, which is not affected, we invite you to check the products upon receipt.
When you receive the product without expressing any specific reservation, it means that you have unconditionally received the product from us. However, if you ascertain any damage/s and / or a defect in the product, then you can inform us, no later than five (5) days of receipt, by contacting by phone at 210-4402191 or e-mail at [email protected] stating to us whether you wish to have it replaced with a new one or you wish to rescind. If you wish to receive a new product in replacement, the new product will be sent at no additional charge.
